The All Saints Catholic School Choirs are a positive musical experience for all members. Choir is not only a place to learn, grow and express musically, but it is also a place to build character through cooperation, responsibility and respect. Many students discover that being in a choral group is like having an extended family, as there is a special bond that is created among people who make music together. Singing in choir also helps improve mental discipline, enhance social interaction, as well as develop teamwork and pride in one’s work.

  • Students who are involved in the choral program should be aware that being a member of choir is different from being in any other class. We perform. That being the case, your work is evaluated on two levels: the process (rehearsal) and the product (performances). As we grow together in our rehearsal process, please remember that having a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment is our goal as we prepare the product–a wonderful performance for an appreciative audience.
  • Students in All Saints Catholic School Choirs will:
    • Learn about and use correct vocal techniques
    • Sing in unison, 2- and 3-part harmony
    • Study music from other historical eras and cultures
    • Sing with a variety of expressive qualities
    • Understand basic music theory concepts
    • Develop sight-reading skills using Solfege
    • Perform in 2 concerts
    • Optional events will also be available (i.e., Christmas caroling, Six Flags Music in the Parks and others)
  • Concert Dates:
    • March 2, 2024–WSMA Solo and Ensemble Festival (OPTIONAL)-JI Case HS (Racine)
    • May 23, 2024–SPRING CONCERT (4-8), 1:00 p.m., Gym
    • June 1, 2024–Music in the Parks (OPTIONAL)–Time TBA

The arts are part of a well-rounded education. Students at ASCS have the opportunity to learn all about the theater in various ways: singing, dancing, acting, sound and lighting, stage management, and costuming. Theater allows students to express themselves and build friendships with their peers. Many students go on to incorporate theater into their high school and college lives.

  • Middle School Musical in the Fall
  • Grade 5 Musical in the Spring
  • Grade 3 Nativity Play at Christmas

“We must all do theater, to find out who we are, and to discover who we could become.” -Augusto Boal
