Yes, bussing is provided to students through KUSD for students that are outside a two mile radius of the school, but within the KUSD bussing boundaries. All interested families need to complete a bussing application found on our website under the ASCS Hub and submit to the school office.
Yes, students in grades 4K-8th grade are required to wear a uniform. Our 3 year old Saints in Training students are not required to wear a uniform, although some choose to do so. (Uniform details can be found in our handbook and on the school website.)
Yes, students may take hot lunch daily for an added cost of $3.55 per lunch. Students may also purchase milk separately for $.50.
Yes, our before/aftercare program, also known as Cardinal Care, is available to all registered families. Care is available before school 6am-7:30am and after school until 6pm. The cost is $2.50/half hour per student.
Yes, the students attend Mass once a week. Each week classes rotate the opportunity to participate in helping to plan and lead the Mass.
No, however, Catholic teachings are an essential part of our curriculum, as well as deliberate observation of our Catholic Sacraments, prayers and liturgical seasons.
We do provide academic support through the Learning Support team from K4 to 8th grade. Depending on the age of the student and the subject area, this may be in-class support, out of class support or both. The Learning Support team collaborates with the teachers to help provide accommodations or modifications per the ISP plan. We also have reading and math support through Title I services, along with some Speech therapy.
Students may bring a snack to eat each mid-morning at a designated time. SIT-grade 2 have 2-3 recesses, grades 3-5 have two recesses and grades 6-8 have one recess. SIT-K5 are offered milk at snack time as well.
A tuition deposit is required at time of enrollment. Tuition can be paid in full in June 2026, or paid over time utilizing the FACTS payment system. You can enroll in the FACTS payment system through the ASCS website under the Admissions tab or under the ASCS Hub.

- ASCS collects a $100 student fee for each student in grades 4K-8. This fee is in lieu of periodic fees for field trips, school wide activities, and curriculum supplements. It also serves to reduce the fee for grade specific retreats and graduation.
- ASCS collects a $100 Fine Arts fee for each student in grades 4-8. This fee covers the cost of additional programming for Fine Arts consisting of Choir, Band, Orchestra, and Theater. All students in grades 4-8 participate in Fine Arts at ASCS.
Yes, ASCS has a Home and School Association. The ASCS H&S Association is an important link between families and school. Their vision is to build a strong community among ASCS family, faculty, and staff centered on the common goal of excellence in Catholic education. Parents are encouraged to join and become actively involved in this important Association.
