Inspiring Faith, One Family at a Time

When Dana Anderson and her husband, Paul Kriston, enrolled their daughter Emery at All Saints Catholic School, they expected strong academics and a nurturing environment. What they didn’t expect was that this decision would open the door to a profound and beautiful transformation for their entire family.

Emery began Kindergarten at All Saints Catholic School in 2020. Surrounded by faith-filled teachers, daily prayer, and a community centered on Catholic values, she flourished—not just academically, but spiritually. Her enthusiasm and curiosity about the faith were contagious. What started as a school decision soon became something much bigger.

“Watching our daughter come home every day talking about Jesus, wanting to say grace, and sharing what she learned about the saints—something changed in us,” Dana shared.

That change led Dana and Paul to begin the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA). They were received into full communion with the Catholic Church during the Easter Vigil at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii in Kenosha. Before that, all three of their children—Emery, Jakob, and Vera—were baptized together in a joyful ceremony in November. Emery is now preparing to receive her First Holy Communion this May.

Throughout their journey, Dana says the support of the All Saints community was invaluable. “We didn’t grow up Catholic, but we never felt out of place. Everyone welcomed us, answered our questions, and helped us grow closer to God as a family.”

Stories like Dana and Paul’s reflect the heart of our mission at All Saints Catholic School. We believe that Catholic education is not just about learning—it’s about formation. When a child is given the opportunity to grow in faith, it often brings the whole family along with them.

We’re honored to walk with families on their journeys—wherever they begin.
